Roosevelt Fire District combined Fire / EMS call volume hits 1000
Wed. Jul 10th 2019

The Roosevelt Fire District today between 0800 - 0930 hrs. was dispatched to 4 calls for assistance.  These calls were numbers 1000, 1001, 1002 & 1003 for the district combined dispatches by DC911. The calls were 3 EMS and 1 mutual aid call to assist at an MVC in West Clinton.

This makes it the earliest the district has hit the district wide call volume of 1000 calls.  With call volume increasing each year comes the need to think about recruiting more members, we welcome anyone who has the desire to help out to come by and inquire to see if you can help out. Any of our stations typically have personnel around them on Monday nights about 7pm, but feel free to come by anytime you see anyone around.

Station 3 has been dispatched to 145 alarms and the ambulance which operates also from Station 3 has been dispatched to 855 calls as of this date.  This call volume will continue to increase we are sure and we will see record call volumes on both the EMS and Fire incidents.
